Excellent managerial control in a Multinational Company (a case study of ABC Company in Indonesia)

The key success factor to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in a company?s daily operation is Managerial Control. ABC Company has implemented excellent control method that enables them to become a leading food manufacturing company in the world. There will be some more discussion regarding the importance of managerial control, measurement of managerial control and real illustration of the implementation of managerial control in several entities of the company (Purchasing, Financial Accounting and Warehousing). Company will have to go through some stages to accomplish an excellent managerial control. The stages include the setting of guidelines, implementation of operating procedures, management of information flow, performance measurement, generation of corrective action and continuous review. In applying managerial control, continuous review is important, since it can assist company or organization to reach its goals effectively and efficiently. Continuous review allows company to adapt to the latest situations therefore the instability of business environment will not have significant effect on the company?s performance as a whole.
